How do recommendations work?
We first remove foods that don’t fit — wrong life stage or size, an ingredient you want to avoid, a food type you didn’t pick, or a price far above your budget. We then score the rest out of 100 on life stage and size, needs, budget, activity and body shape, and buying preference.
How does ChewsyDog make money?
We may earn a commission when you click a deal and buy. This never changes your price, and it can never make an unsuitable food appear in your results.
Is this veterinary advice?
No. ChewsyDog offers general guidance. Always speak to your vet about diagnosed conditions, allergies and prescription diets.
How are monthly prices estimated?
We multiply a typical daily feeding amount for the food type by your dog’s approximate weight, then work out how much of the pack that uses in 30 days. It’s a fair way to compare foods, not a feeding instruction — always follow the pack guide.
What about prescription or vet diets?
We never rank prescription or vet-only diets. If your dog has a diagnosed condition, your vet is the right person to choose their food.
Do I need to give my email?
No. Email is optional — you can skip it and see your results straight away.
